My Number 1 Favourite Deck?
Hi Everyone 😃. Welcome to another deck introduction and interview. Today I’m sharing my interview of The Unicorns Journey Tarot by Lisa Papez. This deck is a labour of love created by Lisa and artist Francesca Paiochhi. It chronicles the journey of a white horse named Mystic who doesn’t know they’re a unicorn 🦄. Along the way, they meet many wonderful people and creatures.
The deck is an RWS clone, but very mystical and fantasy-based. Lisa’s interpretations aren’t always exactly the same as traditional ones, but they absolutely make sense with the art. This is a deck that you can definitely read intuitively, but I like Lisa’s writing so much that I tend to use the book.
My plan with these posts is to show you the decks I have, tell you why I love them, any issues I found, and hopefully help you decide if they’re right for you. Although I have 42 tarot decks and 30 oracles 😱, believe it or not, it’s a relatively small collection. I’m not a collector per se, but if I see a deck I love, then I want to, even if I have so many decks I can’t use them all often. I know some Tarot Tubers who have over 500 decks!
