That’s a fair point Penny. I’m 40 now so approaching the danger period you’re talking about. I do have osteoarthritis already and have since I was in My 20s. The extra weight I carry won’t be helping it but it’s a family curse. All the women on my Mum’s side of the family have it in their knees, including two of my very skinny aunts one of whom lives in the gym.
I’m also always tired but I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue 8 years ago. I was checked for sleep apnea and found I had it mildly but not enough for a mask to be required.
I should also point out that mental health is as important as mental. I made myself so miserable for so many years with dieting and feeling inferior. Sometimes for a person’s own mental health they need to say “no more” to dieting. As for how I live, I do try to be healthy. I eat lots of vegetables and protein, and try to get in some exercise every day even if it’s just a walk. I did go to the gym when it was open - damned Covid! Lol.
Please, remember that, you, can’t always tell how healthy someone is based in their weight alone. There are a lot of factors both hereditary and lifestyle related. Thanks for commenting, I really appreciate it.
