So what you’re saying is that looks are in fact the most important thing about people? That who they are as people is irrelevant? That fat people don’t deserve to be complimented?
My point was t that people are snowflakes and might be upset. My point is there are loads of reason people lose weight and if you don’t know why they’ve lost weight it might not be the best things to mention.
I did say that if you know they’ve tried to lose weight then compliment them but I still think a move towards seeing a person as a whole and not just how they look is a better idea and I stand by that.
I suppose your stance isn’t so surprising though. As a fitness trainer telling people they’re bodies aren’t good enough and they need to lose weight is what pays your rent.
