great article. As Taylor is young, blonde, beautiful and female it’s easy to write her off as a bimbo or attribute her success to someone else. The reality is she’s a gifted songwriter.

As much as the pro-men crowd are already out in force I myself wrote an article about how a section if older white men do indeed feel like they’re an authority on absolutely everything anjd can confidently speak about matters they cannot possibly understand, such as a woman’s reproductive rights or how it feels to be on the receiving end of microaggresssions as a person of colour.

Of course then i was termed a bigot for suggesting that these men step back a little and allow other groups to speak. Some people are completely unwilling to give up even a tiny little bit of their power.
